Bark 2 Basics is a dog training and behavioural academy founded and operated by Emma O’Donnell.
Emma has been training dogs for the past five years and each year she rehabilitates hundreds of dogs with behavioural problems.
After completing her training with the Open College Network she worked along side experienced trainers to advance her knowledge.
Emma was motivated by the rising number of destroyed and abandoned dogs in her area. She wanted to work with dogs with behavioural issues and to promote responsible dog ownership in Northern Ireland.

Her interest stemmed from her love of showing dogs. She has been showing competitively for the past ten years since the age of eleven. This year will be her fifth consecutive year competing at the UK’s largest dog show CRUFTS

Dogs vary in temperament just as much as people do no two dogs are alike. It is therefore essential that the dog trainer sees things from the dog s point of view and plans the dog training course bearing these factors in mind.
